Mic Cavazzini is a journalist and audio geek passionate about engaging people with ethics, health and the natural world.
He produces Pomegranate Health "a podcast about the culture of medicine" which won an Australian Podcast Award in 2018. Another passion project has been the Human/Ordinary podcast about the wonder in everyday narratives.
Mic used to write for The Medical Republic, Australian Doctor and The Canberra Times and was a regular panelist on 2SER Radio’s Diffusion Science. In a previous incarnation he worked as a research scientist at Oxford and the ANU investigating how brain cells process information and learn.
Mic is often called upon to teach, whether it's neuroscience students at the University of Sydney or budding kayakers. He dreams of traveling far and wide, sharing the experiences of those he meets and helping in some way to draw attention to issues of social justice.
